Dr. Victoria Rodriguez
General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in Psychosis, Neurodivergence and Giftedness, and Logotherapy.
About Me
I am a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist specialised in the clinical treatment and academic exploration of Psychosis, with a specific focus on the early stages or first episodes. My career has been shaped by a deep commitment to understanding how the mind works and how to support people through some of their most challenging moments.
I have a strong interest in Neurodivergence, with a particular focus on the overlap between not-yet-identified giftedness, ASD, and ADHD. I culminated years of self-driven learning and research on giftedness with the formal training on support for gifted individuals by Jennifer Harvey Sallin, founder of Intergifted.
Across all my clinical work, I integrate an added layer of existential focus. Having obtained a Diploma of Specialisation in Logotherapy (the existential therapy focused on the search for meaning founded by Viktor E. Frankl), I ensure the pursuit of meaning and purpose remains central to my therapeutic approach with every patient.

Clinical Philosophy
I believe in a collaborative, non-judgemental approach to mental health. Every person who walks through my door -- whether physically or virtually -- brings a unique story, and I think the best outcomes come when we work together to understand not just symptoms, but the whole person.
My approach combines evidence-based psychiatry with genuine human connection. I draw on metacognitive techniques, meaning-centred therapy, and a deep respect for neurodiversity. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals whose experiences have been overlooked or misunderstood -- including those navigating giftedness alongside mental health challenges.
